This thesis describes the efforts directed towards the discovery of bioactive metabolites from marine-derived Aspergillus species of fungi, marine invertebrates such as sponge Oceanapia and soft coral Lobophytum crassum, and diversity oriented synthetic route towards the synthesis of bryozoan metabolites, amathamides. |
