Description |
The Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) model is constructed using experimental data set to predict the damage level of berm breakwater. Experimental data for non-reshaped berm breakwater are collected from Marine Structures Laboratory, Department of Applied Mechanics and Hydraulics, NITK, Surathkal, India. The experimental data are used to train the ANFIS model and thereafter test outputs are obtained. The statistical measures like mean square error, root mean square error, correlation coefficient (CC) and scatter index (SI) for test data are 8.072, 2.841, 0.92, and 0.218 respectively. Comparing with the artificial neural network model, ANFIS yields higher CC and lower SI. From the results it can be concluded that ANFIS can be an efficient tool in predicting the damage level of non-reshaped berm breakwater.
