This project was based on a survey conducted in the “more” stores of Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Delhi, Noida and Faridabad in order to anlayse sale trend of more flour (atta) and also other prevailing brands. An attempt was also made to find out the consumer perception and determine the possible solutions for increase in more brand atta sales and penetration. It was revealed that “more” atta had 21% and 14% share in 5 Kg and 10 Kg packaging respectively whereas highest share is of Ashirwad atta. The customer of present time just focuses on quality, brands and advertisements. It was recommended that existing customers of ‘more’ atta should be given offers like combo pack of staples at low price, extra credit points etc. Packaging should be attractive and depict some certification or quality parameters which would grasp the attention of customers.
