The project entitled “Pre Sale Campaign for Arize Hybrid Rice" in Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) aimed at to plan and implement the brand promotional activities and analysis of perception of farmers and retailers for “Arize” Hybrid Rice for Bayer BioScience Private Limited and suggesting the best promotional tools for increasing the adaptability of Arize hybrid rice. In the present study different promotional tools like Farmer's meeting, door to door campaign (Ghar-Ghar Dastak), tele campaign, Van campaign, Point-Of-Purchase (POP) display and retailer meeting etc. were covered and thoroughly observed. Mass media advertisement, Audio cassettes/ C.D distribution, gift distribution to farmers etc. could also be used very effectively for promotion of Arize hybrid rice. Arize is the old and strongest Brand hybrid rice seed. Majority of the farmers are well aware about it and already in practice to use it. |
