Description 1078-1082
Statistical Process Control methods are used to measure and diagnose variability occurring within processes. In this study,
surface parallelisms in plates cut by circle saw block cutter machine from marble blocks were determined by Range (R) control
charts produced by thickness measurements of plates. Correlation between surface parallelisms of plates cut was examined. It
was suggested that the use of correlation analysis to determine similarities and differences among plates cut at different levels
was significant for control of machinery and R control charts.
