Description |
1739-1743
Silica supported zinc chloride (SiO₂-ZnCl₂) has been prepared and found to efficiently catalyze the acetylation of amines, alcohols and phenols by stirring in acetonitrile at 80ºC under heterogeneous conditions. The catalyst can be separated from the reaction medium simply by filtration and re-used up to four times. |
