A series of o-nitrobenzoylthiourea derivatives have been synthesized under the condition of solid-liquid phase transfer catalysis using polyethylene glycol-400 (PEG-400) as the catalyst in high yields. The preliminary plant growth regulator activities of these compounds on wheat growth are tested. Some of the compounds have considerable wheat growth promoting activities. |
