Examines the coverage of agricultural economics, nature of information on the area, and the importance of technical and marketing information to managers, farmers and other stakeholders to take maximum advantage of the WTO Regime. Examines in detail the resources of information units of organizations dealing with agricultural economics in the region and the provisions for resource-sharing between them. Reveals that information resources available collectively are sufficient, but that at individual institutions are not adequate, full or reliable. Recommends a resource sharing programme for institutions concerned with agricultural economics.
