Words of variable length are gathered together in a meaningful manner to make up a text. Web is probably the largest mass of words of various kinds. The distribution of words contained in a text itself is of great interest to scientists. Many scientists have attempted to examine the informetric properties of the web in the past. However, fewer attempts have been made to investigate relationships like the number of hits words of a text generated on a search engine, their word length and the frequency with which they appear in a text. Present paper is an attempt to do so. |
