Present
strudy consists a quantitative inventory of macroparasites in some intertidal
gastropods from a rocky shore on Qeshm
Island in the Persian Gulf, Iran. It
is examined 456 individual gastropods comprising 11 species, Among the above Thais savignyi and Cronia cf konkanensis were infected by parasites. Thais savignyi was infected by
trematodes (12.72%), nematodes (0.21%), nematomorphs (0.21%) and copepods
(0.43%). Cronia cf konkanensis was infected by trematodes solely (1.75%). Prevalence of
infection in Thais savignyi and Cronia cf konkonensis was 13.56% and 1.75 %, respectively.
