Description 1682-1688
Samples contaminated with Vibrio cholera, V. parahaemolyticus and V. vulnificus
were identified using PCR with primers.
Three species was found in the examined fish and mollusk at all markets
in Busan and was found in all seasons. In most cases, the bacteria
were isolated from the epithelial intestines of fish. Only three species of mollusks were contaminated with V. parahaemolyticus. V. vulnificus was found in Sebastes pachycephalus (Jacopever, Schlegel's blac
rockfish) and Anguilla japonica
(Japanese eel). For optimization of electrophoretic parameters of PFGE,
isolates of 6 sites were analyzed with NotI
digestion. NotI could be used as a
restriction enzyme in PFGE subtyping of L. pneumophila.
