The age and growth rate of Parapeneopsis stylifera was evaluated based on length frequency analysis. The available groups (51-135 mm) were analysed using modal progression and mean lengths computed. Based on these it was observed that P. stylifera attained a length of 124.78 mm and 138.67 mm at the end of first and second year of its growth, respectively. The life span of this shrimp varies between 1 to 2 years. |
