Age and growth of M. ceylonicus was determined using size frequency distribution, probability plot, von Bertalanffy's equation and Ford Walford graph. Growth of snail was 4.4,8.36, 11.42 and 14.12 mm in 0, 1st, 2nd and 3rd y respectively. The L alpha calculated using Ford Walford graph was 21.2 mm. Growth rate decreased with age. |
