Antagonistic property of Streptomyces sp. isolated from Villorita cyprinoides was studied along with L-Asparaginase activity and growth. Streptomyces sp. showed optimum pH requirement at 7. The influence of amino acids, carbon sources and sodium chloride showed wide variations. Heavy metal inhibited the growth and activity. |
