Three kinds of fertilizer pellets containing ammonium sulphate and superphosphate (A), calcium ammonium nitrate and superphosphate (B) and calcium ammonium nitrate only (C) were tried as a source of N and P, to enhance growth of G. acerosa in the field cultivation experiments. The pellets `A' gave significantly higher bushiness and dry weight over control, and a maximum yield of 13.29 g (dry). m -1 length of the rope. |
