The larvae of Doclea ovis pass through 2 zoeal stages and a megalopa stage before the 1st crab instar stage, requiring minimum of 10 d at salinity 34 x 10/3 and temperature 29 + or - 1 degree C. All the stages are described and larval comparisons made with the other known species. |
