Effect of different saline concentrations (0.04, 0.08, 0.095, 1.5 and 2.%) on the degree of resolution and banding patterns of adductor muscle proteins of oysters Crassostrea species was studied. Saline solution of 0.095% was found to be the ideal extraction medium giving the maximum number of bands and the highest resolution of proteins. |
