Protein, lipid, alginic acid, crude fiber, chlorophylls a and c, moisture and the ash contents were estimated in Sargassum rulgare, S. enerve, Cystoseira barbata, Turbinaria murrayana and Padina vickersiae. The results suggest their potential use as animal feed and fertilizers. |
