Ilmenite with its exsolution integrowth of titanhematite is separated from black sands using a special technique. Chemical analysis of this crop from 18 fractions gives TiO2 content from 47.14 to 50.74%. The relative concentration of TiO2, as worked out from the data on mineral proportion of ilmenite integrowth and chemical analysis, amounts to 23.73 kg (100 kg)-1 bulk sample of the black sands. |
