O2 consumption of Nausitora hedleyi acclimated in 5 and 20% salinities and experimented in salinities ranging from 0.6 to 33.65% shows that within the salinity tolerance range b values remained almost the same and that the metabolic rate increased with increase or decrease in salinity.
