Data on salinity, temperature, phosphate, nitrate, dissolved oxygen and pH were obtained from 4 stations (lat. 13ᵒ and 14ᵒ N and Long. 80ᵒ and 82ᵒ E) during the 93 rd cruise of R V Gaveshani. Significant differences were observed between coastal and offshore stations in respect of vertical distributions of pH, nitrate and N/P ratios. |
