Four zoeal stages and a glaucothoe were observed during development in the laboratory (sal.35 ± 1% and temp.29 ± 1°C). Characteristics of the zoeal stages and the glaucothoe are described and compared with other known species of this genus. The zoeal stages could be readily differentiated from other known species based on the rostrum. |
