Food conversion efficiency of M. monoceros was calculated using different test diets. Conversion efficiency and relative growth rates were high in groups of shrimps fed on diets containing 60% protein. Average dry weight loss per day by moulting per shrimp amounted to 0.83 mg and was equivalent to 0.572% of its mean dry weight. |
