Moisture, glycogen, protein, total lipids and ash content in the tropical intertidal limpet C. radiata were estimated. Two distinct periods of variations were noticeable, the 1st extending from March to October indicating high breeding activity when water content and protein values were high and the 2nd indicating the period of rest from October to March when glycogen content was high. |
