Temperature, salinity and dissolved oxygen distributions during February-April 1970in the shelf waters off the south west coast of India are presented in the form of vertical sections off Cochin, Alleppey and Quilon. Vertical movement of the isolines of these parameters indicates the presence of upwelling in these waters which commences in February. |
