Description |
1226-1229
Experimental studies were carried out to remove the contaminants particularly iron and fluoride and to study the efficiency of the removal of fluoride using Limonia Acidissma (Bael fruit) shell. Accordingly a set of experiments have been conducted using batch and column processes, with the help of activated carbon prepared from the shell of Limonia Acidissma. Experiments reveal that the adsorption capacity of the shell of Limonia Acidissma is significant as 64% to yield promising solutions. |
