Summary, etc. <p>The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of e-information literacy on information seeking behavior of university teachers in the state of Maharashtra. The findings of the study reveals that e-information literacy makes high impact on information seeking behavior of university teachers on the academic activities such as updating of knowledge, writing papers and books. Further, the study discloses that, teachers are able to evaluate information critically and can classify/compare the information after getting trained in the use of e-information resources. The paper concludes that e-information literacy facilitates the university teachers to make use of e-information effectively and independently.</p>
