Summary, etc. <p>The sites of online newspapers in Kashmir were surveyed individually and the social media tools available on theirwebsites were studied. It was found that vernacular online newspapers of Kashmir are more in need of evolving and existingmedia structures and practices. Incorporating social media in the newspapers will help to facilitate conversations across avast geographical expanse.</p>
