<p>Abstract</p><p>A statistical analysis of hourly daily and monthly correlation between critical frequency of F2 layer (foF2) and propagation factor [M(3000)F2] for low latitude locations has been carried out . For this study we considered the foF2 and M(3000)F2 values from Jicamarca (12ºS, 283ºE) , Kwajalein (09<sup>0</sup>N,167<sup>0</sup>E) and Madimbo (22<sup>0</sup>S, 031<sup>0</sup>E) during the months of January (Winter) and July (Summer) for the year 2006 to 2010 separately for calculation of correlation we used simple regression coefficient (R) for Hourly values of foF2 and M(3000)F2 . we find both the parameters are poorly correlated.</p><p>Key words: Radio propagation-ionosphere, F2 layer critical frequency, Propagation factor M(3000)F2</p> |
