Large numbers of agricultural experiments are being conducted in the country in National Agricultural Research System (NARS). IASRI is maintaining database of agricultural field experiments wherein result/plot wise data of agricultural experiments is maintained. The database contains details of 28917 Agricultural Field experiments. Data relating to 6287 RCBD experiments for which plot wise data is available have been examined for test of additivity of effects using Tukey’s test and independence of errors using Run test. In 10.85% experiments assumption of additivity of effects and in 11.07% experiments the assumption of independence of errors of ANOVA is not satisfied. In presence of these disturbances, alternate method of analysis has been given. |
