Description This experiment was carried out to study the inuence of grazing on milk CLA content in gross breed dairy cows. Grazing group animal’s milk had 23.77 percent higher CLA content. Grasses are generally rich in alpha linolenic acid. These results revealed that feeds, rich in C18:2 and C18:3 fatty acids, increased the CLA content in the milk of dairy cows, possibly due to their incomplete biohydrogenation in the rumen, which
might have resulted in their higher absorption at lower gut and thereafter secreted in milk.
