Description |
An eight years old male non-descript dog had swelling in the inguinal region. Clinical examination revealed firm mass on the vas deferens and it was removed surgically. The mass was grayish-white in colour. Microscopically, multiple variable sized tubules were found arising from ampulla and lined by single to multiple layers of cuboidal to columnar neoplastic cells. The neoplastic growth invaded the tunica muscularis. Based on the gross and microscopical examination, the mass was diagnosed as adenocarcinoma of vas deferens.
