Description |
Ph.D. Thesis
In this study, Ig of catla is raised, affinity purified and its molecular weight determined. Molecular weight of Ig was found to be 870 kDa and that of H and L chains 84 and 23 kDa. Furthermore, a panel of four MAbs were raised against the purified Ig, which were used in epitope analysis. MAbs of catla Ig recognized Ig of all IMC and cyprinids. One MAb (C5H3) also detected mucus Ig. An ELISA developed using MAb C6E2 for detection of catla Ig. |
