A fi~ld P.xperiment was conducted in~ 1987-88 on sandy loam soil at the Tirupati Campus of A.P.Agricultural University to stUdy the effect of irrigation and weed management on growth and yield of ~ redqram. Tha treatments consistP.d of four levels of irrigation viz., IW/CPE ratioA of 0.8, 0.6, 0.4 and 0.2 with SO mm as the depth of irrigation. The weed management treatments include intercultivation at 25 and 50 days after sowing.
