Haematobiochemical studies were carried out in eight Tellicherry goats maintained on basal diets in Karur District of Tamil Nadu, India. The analysis revealed the overall mean values of Hb, TEC, TLC to be 8.55± 0.10 g/dl, 10.85 ±0.12 x 10^6 /mm^3 and 7.04 ± 0.24 x 10^3 /mm^3, respectively. Total protein, glucose and urea nitrogen were 7.61± 0.20 g/dl, 59.29 ± 2.51 mg/dl and 22.99 ±1.13 mg/dl, respectively. The profile of minerals like copper, zinc and enzymes like alkaline phosphatase was studied. |
