Description |
Myeloma or multiple myelomas are tumours of plasma cells that originate within the bone marrow and develop diffuse systemic involvement. In dogs, multiple myeloma represents less than 1% of all malignancies and less than 4% of all bone tumours (Priester, 1980). This paper reports a rare case of myeloma involving the calcaneus and tibia, and its management in a dog.
