Description |
The results revealed that the keets fed with Broiler starter mash (T4-ME-2900 kcal/kg & CP-22% for 0-4 wks) + Broiler nisher mash (ME-3000 kcal/kg & CP-20% for 5-8wks) had signicantly (p≤0.05) higher body weight (580.05g) at 8 weeks than the other treatment groups viz T3.528.68g, T1-532.42g, and T2-512.65g. There was no signicant difference in feed conversion ratio and livability between the treatment groups. It is concluded that Nandanam Guinea fowl- 1 has shown optimum production performance when fed with high energy and moderate protein diet.
