r\nnlysis of variance clearly indicated the presence of highly signilicimt
difll.rcnces among parental genotypes and crosses for all the character study. Results of
variahil~ty ;inalysis revealed sufficient variability for number of pods plant^'. seed yield plant I .
nu~nlicr of pod clusters plant^', number of branches plant-', 100 seed weight and plant licigllt.
High Ilcritahility coupled with high genetic advance as percentage of mean were ohserved
