Description |
A survey was undertaken to determine the status of BZ anthelmintic resistance in infective larvae of H. contortus of sheep and goats which revealed the presence of fragment sizes of 240 and 550 bp indicating the presence of both resistant and susceptible allele populations. However, in the sample from sheep flock at SBRS, Sandynallah only one PCR product at 240 bp was noticed which implied the presence of homozygous resistant worm population alone. In pooled sample from goat flocks at two institutional farms, PCR products of 240 bp and 550 pb were demonstrated.
