Infectious diseases are often undiagnosed and hence medicinal cure coult not be taken at the right time to save them. It is difficult to provide medicine orally since snakes are fed once in a week. However, broad spectrum antibiotics were recommended in infections with Salmonella sp. (Arora, 1994). Bacterial infections are not uncommon in snakes (Kaura et al., 1971; Rao et al., 1980; Mishra and Verma, 1981).
