Description |
Quantitative analysis of foraminifera (entire and broken) revealed that Rotalina, composed of 29 species, constituted 95.18% while Miliolina, composed of 11 species, and Textulariina, with 5 species were poorly represented. Temperature, salinity and tidal effect during monsoon and nonmonsoonal periods had a profound effect on productivity and quality of preservation
