Description |
Several fishes, representing different trophic levels, and some zooplankton samples were analysed for Hg, Cd and Pb There is a wide variation in the concentrations of these elements Hg is quite low in practically all the tissues Cd and Pb show increased levels in some tissues Of particular importance are the elevated Cd levels in liver of almost all fishes which show a positive correlation with the size of the fish
