Description |
The metric and meristic characters of Psettodes erumei and Pseudorhombus arsius from the nearshore waters of Goa have been studied. The meristic characters of these two species showed considerable variations. However, the number of vertebrae in P. erumei and the number of dorsal fin rays in P. arsius were relatively stable characters. Statistical interpretation of metric data indicated that there is direct relationship between the head length, depth of the body and total length
