Description |
Considerable variations in hydrocarbon and fatty acid levels in surface sediments from Thana creek and Bombay harbour were observed Sediments from the westernside nearshore locations yielded higher values The residues were characterised by infrared spectroscopy (IR) and gas chromatography (GLC) The results suggest that the contamination might have originated from crude oil residue.
