Description A doubt has been raised on the use of a salts as catalyst for the degradation process. The impact of H@d2@@ O@d2@@ on degradation of PCDD and PCDF is not well defined. The observed variation in the concentration of the different congeners of PCDDs and PCDFs is not well illustrated. The entraction of triplicate samples of aqueous 2,4,5-T gave wide range of standard deviation which is statistically unaccetpable. No proper justification is provided to elucidate on unusual increase in concentration of 2378-TCDD. Furan were found to be completely degraded by treatment with Fe/hv only, such an anomaly in the results should be expalined with proper justification
