Description The extent and the nature of fouling were studied on mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel panels at the Vijaydurg Harbor and Musakazi-Jaitapur Bay on the central western coast of India. In addition, cathodically protected and unprotected panels of copper and brass were investigated. Fouling activity continues throughout the year at both stations. Protected brass had the maximum fouling assemblage followed copper and then by mild steel. Unprotected copper and brass were free fouling
