| Description |
An annotated bibliography on studies related to data assimilation in modeling ocean processes has been prepared. The bibliography listed here is not comprehensive and is not prepared from the original references. Information obtainable from the Aquatic Sciences and Fisheries abstracts (ASFA) database using the Silver Platter Information Retrieval Software (SPIRS) is presented in this report. Facilities made available over the intranet by National Institute of Oceanography (NIO) Library, Goa, India were used. The available publications on data assimilation are classified and listed under global scale models, ocean scale models, quasi-geostrophic models, small scale flow models, ocean ecological models, satellite derived data assimilation, wave data assimilation and other related studies.
