Description |
Various wave loadings are considered separately on the deepwater Spar platform, with the wave propagation along x-axis and dynamic analyses are carried out at 1150m water depth using Newmark- beta approach The dynamic responses along six degrees of freedom, i.e., surge, sway, heave, roll, pitch and yaw are analyzed It is observed that responses due to sway, roll and yaw are negligible as compared to responses of surge, heave and pitch Tensions at the mooring points are also presented in the paper.
