Description |
Viscosity of crude rice bran oil with wax contents of 0.23-8.60% (w/w) was measured using a coaxial cylindrical viscometer at 297-333 K. Crude oil behaved as a pseudoplastic fluid, obeying the power law model, with a consistency index of 2.0187 x 10---4 c-0-.-2-0-6-6 e-2-8-1-5-/-T and a flow behaviour index of 0.76, where c is the wax content and T the temp. in Kelvin. Soy lecithin at 1-2% did not affect rheological properties. [From En summ.]
