Description Nature's lap is the pride of mankind. It has endowed man with huge reservoir of bioresources whose potential utilization solely,depends upon how these are transformed to meet his needs, without disturbing the ecosystem. Inadvertently, many times he has indulged in over exploitation of his resources, thus dwindling the entire eco-environment. At other occasions, the industrial growth created many by-products whose disposal in the environment caused extensive pollution. It is in this context that scientific manpower needs to draw strategies to protect the natural heritage and develop ways and means for their transformation into value added products.
